  1. Lovely as always! The suspense builds...

  2. LOLZ NARY CALLED STOCKYARD GHEY

  3. Ehehe. All glory to Boo! I know Sette isn't reckless or stupid enough to go into this confrontation without Duane, but I'm worried she might get caught snooping around. Not TOO worried, though. Really, I'm more anxious to see how Duane is going to react when he wakes up. I imagine he's gonna raise some sort of awful hell when he figures out where he is, though the real fun will come from seeing what comes to his mind first: that he's in Cresce, or that he's in a love hotel.

  4. It does not look like Stockyard is hiding! One more proof that money talks even in ostensibly "moneyless" society.

  5. @ Lord TableShark Daaaaaaw, but it also means 'strange' in older terms. C'mon, you know this :P Hope we see his face some days than just having it be the mouth or lower torso and legs. Reminds me of the adults in Tom and Jerry.
    Elle on
  6. @Elle - "Hope we see his face" - I second that! If Jivi's mother ever met Nary-A-Care, she would not be complaining about extinction of manly men.

  7. Oh right, she brought the spider. Too bad she used all its goop on pyrotechnics (or, would that be cryotechnics, since it was cold fire?) Gratuitous violence and/or banter may very well be in order before the dawn. I eagerly await it!

  8. I'm worried that Ashley hasn't make us hate Stockyard yet. I mean, not really hate. That implies something very bad is about to happen to Sette...

  9. Argh, don't get too close, Sette. If you get caught, you'll have to wait for Duane to wake up and miraculously save you, or pray the PG will find you. It's not that I doubt your cunning and sneaky skills. I just doubt you will be fruitful against a large crowd of Stockyard's lackeys holdin ya down. Tread lightly, my dear!

  10. Hell, we may actually *like* Stockyard.
    Lord TableShark on
  11. Unless of course he's the guy who's paying the Red Berry Boys to disembowel little kids and stuff them full of First Silver. That'd be uber uncool of him.
    Lord TableShark on
  12. @Lord Tableshark: Well, yeah... but what would the odds b- yeah... ok... I guess that's that. Also: "Aldish up the snakes"?
    MDN on
  13. @Tableshark, I'm pretty sure it's been alluded to several times that the RBBs are working under Stockyard. I'm not holding my breath on liking him too much, even in a Starfish way. :P
    gahitsu on
  14. @MDN: I'm pretty sure that's "Aldish: Stop the Snakes." Like a good patriot, you know. Lovely pages, the signs are great.

  15. Can anyone read the small black writing under the glass held by the lower spririt's hand?

  16. i am so ready to ship stockyard and starfish

  17. Hmm, Nary said the place was called The Deadly Nevergreen, I think. http://www.casualvillain.com/Unsounded/comic/ch04/ch04_05.html

  18. Interesting. Could explain the name and the noose: http://thechirurgeonsapprentice.com/2011/10/31/the-deadly-nevergreen-public-hangings-at-tyburn/

  19. What is "spige" and why would I want to buy a giant jug of it?
    Sigmir on
  20. @Elle: Wouldn't it be cool, though, if the next page is posted and it's just a huge spread of Stockyard dressed in drag & a pink feathered boa?
    Lord TableShark on
  21. Love that the little bug is watching too. I'm sure it will play a part too. I just feel this Berry Boys thing and Sette's cousin are going to cross at some point.
    MK on
  22. I'm so excited to see what's in there! This chapter is so wonderfully paced~
    Trisha on
  23. @Lord TableShark that would be amazing, but i don't think that's what was planned, it's more likely she's going to walk in on starfish and stockyard discussing payment or something like that and she'll go and tell duane and his sense of righteousness will force him to rush in and free the children.
    AmetuerAspirant on
  24. @Sigmir: I think that's "spice", actually.
    Anonymous on
  25. That makes much more sense !
    Sigmir on
  26. Man, I am so worried about her going in there. I know she's incredibly capable, but geez.
    Fawnet on
  27. Psh! You all know chaos is about to ensue. Where Sette goes chaos follows.... and Duane. It matters not whether she gets caught snooping, brazenly walks in, or just watches from the shadows. She should have a purple suit, for she is an agent of chaos, and even the 'Peace' Guard can hold no sanity against the storm that is Sette. As always, amazing art and story Ashley.
    Ionjam on
  28. Hmmm. Of a sudden I crave incentive or fan art of Sette as the Joker and Duane as Batman......
    Ionjam on
  29. Has anyone seen this? It's a picture of a steampunk spider that someone actually MADE and it reminds me of our little spider friend. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151018642791107&set=a.397655891106.178059.16887121106&type=1&theater.
    Becca on
  30. Uh,oh. Anyone else got the sneaking suspision that Stockyard might be a dirty double crossing traitor who often works for the Cressian government or that he's the family executioner and Sette's been sentenced to death by her jerk father? Or am I just being paranoid?
    nekochan on
  31. @nekochan: I think we can definitely expect some huge twist from Stockyard, though I'm not sure exactly what. (I'm voting for drag, though.)
