I don't think I like what that locked door is implying... Also gotta say I think the biggest threat in this room is the brunette- she looks like she's the type to stab you in the back while you're distracted (although most of these guys probably would) Can't wait till monday. >:D
Why do I get the feeling Quigs is about to get beat up and Matty's going to run into Jivi and Sette while searching for help? Also... << new vote incentive? Didn't you have a cheesecake poll up on Facebook for a while?
quigs should win a fight besides he has the bonus of not keeping things silent. whereas starfish cannot afford the guard to show up.
still the blonde chick looks crazy. hate to find out what her sexual kinks are.
What's Starfish's angle in deliberately antagonizing his wright? If he's going to betray him wouldn't it make more sense to pretend to be nice up until he puts the knife in his back? Seems like he is trying to goad Quigley into pymary unnecessarily, hmm...
I don't see Starfish goading as much as, well, gloating. It's like what happens when you've run a race and realize you're finally coming to the finish line and you've got everything under control. Now that Starfish doesn't need Quigley's magic or his construct, and he's got better recruits, and he's about to close his deal, he can say anything he wants to the wright. Quigs knows he's actually the one at disadvantage here. That's what he was venting about when he got upset at Matty several pages back.
@Daughter Of Yahweh: I can see that, but we have evidence that Quigley is rather short tempered and irrational when threatened (he pymarically strikes Starfish for saying his son is crippled, he goes suicide-commando into a whole nest of wright hunters to avenge his wife etc). Starfish knows this, and Starfish is smart. He must have a plan!
Looks like Knock-Me-Down is the focus of everyone's attention. Nobody seems to pay any heed to her master, although this wright is the first (grownup) important female character who is unquestionably beautiful. Nice to be reminded that personality counts. I bet Knockers would be the life of any sorority party and the nexus of desire of all the campus jocks.
Anybody else remember what it was like to be a kid and suddenly be in trouble for something really, really bad that you had no idea would get you in trouble when you did it?
Starfish is a special kind of evil for just *having* to have put that on Matty. Really? He had to get the blind-mommies-dead-and-daddy-already-blames-him-and-breaks-his-promises-and-works-for-bad-people kid in trouble? For why? To be evil?
Well done, Starfish. You are evil.
@ Jesse. I understand how you could find implying that no female character so far has met Mad'Monster'Maniac's standards of beauty to be sexist, but it was only one comment; by no means a representation of overall "misogyny in the comments". The way you reacted comes off as very oversensitive and the language was equally, of not more, inappropriate.
