OH NO! Nasty Evil Cutter ate Jivi's foot! Sette will spurn his incompleteness therefore... No wonder she has a shock look on her face! LOL!
Ok- you can delete my comment, Ashley, it'll just confuse the tar outta later readers after ya fix the poor boy. heck, I didn't even notice till Annie called it...Hope my improv made ya grin:)
Hey John at the top- NO, everybody that works for a 'Boss' is "family" cousins,uncles,etc, It has NOTHING to do with DNA relationship. There is lots of 'talk here in comments' about who looks similar- it is just talk! (unless Ashley says they are!) Did you say that AC?
I say leave pogo-stick Jivi, lol, see how many new readers miss it on their way through. bwahahahah! Truly bizarre. Oh.. and the lights stopped... that does not bode well for someone... whether it's the Quiglys or Jivi and Sette (I'm betting they squeaked fairly loud).
Jivi's foot is not the only thing missing in this chapter. Where is the middle (third out of five, from any side) harpoon tip from top of the short side of the fence adjacent to the warehouse wall? It must have been stuck right through Jivi's guts, but apparently isn't. Ashley does not show Jivi removing it or holding it in his hand, although it would have made a formidable weapon in addition to Jivi's knife.
YES! Jivi got out!
NO! Jivi is still not running to the police! D:
Also they should be more quiet though the fight might be loud enough to cover their noise.
Guess next page we see dead Quigley and crying Matty who´s about to become new plaything of Starfish. ;A;
Where does she keep that knife, anyways?! And doesn't she have two of them, actually?
It is a bit hard to see Duane and Quigley resolve their differences. However, the guys over there <---- I bet they aren't dying anytime soon, any of them.
@Michael: Yeah, Sette should have two daggers! Her job class is Thief, moreover, she has a tail like Zidane Tribal. Oh well, she has just one, kept in a concealed scabbard up her sleeve (they do it on Earth too). That's why she tries to always wear long sleeves.
I have this weird, gut feeling that this moment, this meeting, is significant for Sette and Jivi. Has anyone seen a lot of TV series or read a lot of book series and been able to spot a moment when two characters who are meant to be a team first meet? I got that feeling the instant Jivi fell on top of Sette.
Oh god Ashley, I'm sorry about the webhost thing. What a pain! I sincerely hope that you don't really owe them lots of money, and that everything will be resolved quickly. You don't stress too much out over it. Our job is to write fic where Starfish pays a friendly call on your ISP's accounting department.
@Anthony: Please see Jivi's knife: Chapter 6, Page 50, two bottom left panels: upper - Jivi picks up the knife, lower - he cuts his leather collar, knife is in his left hand, middle panel - knife is in his left hand; Ch.6 Pg.51, top two frames - knife is in his teeth, sailor-style; Ch.6 Pg.52, center right frame - knife is in his left hand. He might be a leftie - a dangerous adversary in a knife fight.
Question. Why doesn't Duane move around on his floaty rock more often? Was that a one time thing to scale the cliff? or could he make an entire carriage out of earth with horses and everything! That would be awesome...
@Mad'Monster'Maniac please see the fact it's from cutters helmet which may or may not be a knife blade but regardless it's not a full fledged knife.
@feline256 that's dissapointing to hear, I think "set" sounds better than "set-tee" which doesn't make much sense to begin with
