  15. Of all the 'main' characters in Unsounded, Quigley seems like one of the most likely to die. At least I can see him die far more than someone like the main two, or even Captain Toma.

  20. Quigs can't die. There's too much conflict between him and Duane ... so there's a good reason to put them on one site, always squabbling while they intend to finish off the Red Berry Boys. Or whoever is behind them. All the more as Quigs has some severe problem with Blacktongues, and Duane some ... well, relations to them. I hope Quigley will live, as I want to see more of this chaos. :)

  22. I can see two possibles next. 1 With Quigley KOed his shield goes down and Starfish catches a paper-cut. 2 Major distraction the silver on the damaged column is eating KMD and with Quigley down the RBB and Galls turn to help KMD, or not. Meanwhile Sette rescues/recruits Quigley & Matty.

  37. @Raptyr: I'm guessing Quigley could do something like that, but seeing how they two wrights here have been tearing things out of each others' hands (Anadyne took the stone from Quigley when he tried to crush Starfish, while Quigley grabbed the dirt right of out Anadyne's hands just now) I don't think he'd risk a defense like that. It seems like he favors using barriers to block while Anadyne is already using a pymary attack, so that he doesn't risk her stealing his shield in the middle of casting it. There's also the issue of how fast he can speak. Duane used quite some time to charge up his "mountain punch", so perhaps a stone-based defense would simply take too long or be too unwieldy to use in fast-paced combat like this.

  44. Ouch! This is a bad time to be unconscious. He must of pulled him pretty hard to cause that much blood, but we already know Starfish is Crazy strong from the bottle beating he dished out. I can't even imagine what Jivi or Sette could do to help, especially against starfish. Starfish has proven to be smarter and stronger than I ever gave him credit for at the beginning. P.S. I'm wondering what happened to Duane. last time we saw him he was lying in bed in a brothel with a ghost hovering over him. Love your story Ashley! I'm addicted.
