KMD got booted to the mooooon! That cracked me up, "take that ya scitzo junkie!"
Ya, I see where Ol-fat-n-nasty has become a serious "loose cannon liabilty' to S'yard, time for ol girl to do a smack down and save folks and wharehouse materials and not further entice the authorities!
mmmhmm- ghosty speaks like an Aldish gentleman!
Rock on Ashley!
A standoff! Easily solution though: Uaid causes a ruckus, threatening to attract outside attention.
Starfish will have to give up Matty in order to get away from the construct and hide. He wouldn't dare hurting the boy because the ogre would kill him instantly.
And it's not likely even the Peaceguard could stop Uaid if he just jumps into the river.
i bet what he is duane, of course that could just happend when the nigh apears(there must be a explanation why his body act by that whay in the night, and probably it because his soul abandon the body temporaly)
I had a feeling Starfish would end up holding poor Matty hostage ;_; I wonder if Sette is going to try something... but then we haven't seen Cutter since he crawled off to a crate and I suspect he's not out of the picture yet. Although maybe he just crawled off to pass out? XD
What Sette needs to do is bite through Starfish's right hand tendons - near the wrist, around which her small mouth can clamp reliably and Starfish's fat tissue is the thinnest. Her shark's teeth are perfect for the job. Of course, this turn of events will deprive the reader of enjoying a "Save Matty!" quest.
We've got Quigs safe...now please just let us have Matty back!! Zathyr, my felicitations on your impressively erudite vocabulary! I had to look up "caudated"; I don't usually come across completely new words!
HE SPEAKS! My long time stalker-fanboydom of Glashley means I know this blue ghosty from her previous work...however, I am still filled with geeky nerdjoy by his lines. Hopefully he'll be around long enough for everyone to get to know him the way I do...and hopefully nothing truly happens to him, but if it does, it's his fault for being an uppity ponce that dresses like a 12 year old girl. Nothing good comes to 12 year old girls in Unsounded. He should know better, silly ghost.
Is it Just me or dose Uiad appear to be looking down and to the left and smiling in the last panel. That is not the behavior of a dimwitted orge faced with a perplexing hostage situation. I think Uiad has some unacknowledged cunning or tactical ability and is about to deprive Starfish of his lieutenant. As for Starfish, if Quigley recovers fast enough he can steal the edge off Starfish's dagger and and cut Starfish's throat, alternately Anadyne might do it out of simple prudence. Also like the look on Timofey and Sette's faces when he realizes he has spoken aloud. OO & Oo
Starfish hasn't grasped that Uiad is the primary threat and that Jivi is secondary problem this hour. Or that this act is drawing to a close and the opera is over for the Red Berry Boys, The Fat lady has sung.
No, the ghost clearly has jet black hair, and while he is Aldish, he cannot be Duane, since Duane is gold [haired]. He mentions this in Tainish(Aldish), "Ssom soud." during his battle with Quigley when asked about his caste. I highly doubt a physical manifestation of Duane's soul would appear much different to how he did before his death.
