Ouch! Knock-Me-Down landed on her tits. It may have cushioned her fall, but that had to hurt. Or it will, when she's conscious again.
I love how even the heroics is fast becoming a bit of a fiasco. No one is coming out of this night entirely happy. XD
Can't wait until Monday!
@Michael: Anadyne is kind of busy at the moment. Her attention divided between escaping with the loot and understanding what the fuck just happened. Not to mention, Sette really is the sort to appear out of fucking no where, when you least expect it.
@Nakedkali: That... is an amazing theory. I wish I had thought of it! It does sound highly unlikely now, but that's a great idea for a different comic or story. Though your comment makes it sound as if it's already a fairytale/folktale/etc. that I wasn't aware of before?
(My reaction to the message of the day.)
*I've already released four comics this week...*
Ashley Cope, you are the salt of the Earth.
*...so I'm going to take Friday off.*
THOU ART A CRUEL MISTRESS, LADY COPE!
Kidding. Have a good weekend.
So, no one's gonna make the "Knock's knockers" crack? Nobody? Okay...probably for the best...
But those really aren't just for show, are they? XD
Poor Sette!!! I hope Duane is himself soon...also, I kind of miss him.
Nobody noticed Sette's change in attitute. She said "Tell Stockyard I'm coming for him!" For him, not the money he owes. Beacause he is "behind the Red Berry Boys". So much for Sette's repeated paeans to greed. She is a force for the good, no ifs or buts.
What if Anadyne was jealous of her new cousin, annoyed by a squealing toddler or simply had wished for a cute kitten instead?
Unfortunately her early attempt at pymary had only a, lets say, "partailed" success and Nary forbade Ana any further dabbling in "spellery." The unknown mother left them after little Sette bit her nipple off.
Purest speculation, but Ashley has to come up with something better now… >;-)
MMM, I think the change, as you put it, could easily be explained as Stockyard seems to be violating the rules of the Frummagems. If he's doing so, it's not just his money that Stockyard needs to be concerned about, but his own well-being. You don't mess with the Frummagems, as Sette has explained before.
