Alright... I've been thinking, and I believe Gwendolyn would be much better suited for this setting than Xeranad. Here we go:
1: What is your character's full name and how is it pronounced?
Gwendolyn Winterhaven. Gwen-DO-Linn Win-Tur-Hay-Ven
2: What is your character's age and gender?
Exact age unknown, though she appears to be somewhere between 17 and 19. Female.
3: How did your character come to be in Sharteshane?
She honestly doesn't know. She can't remember anything from before being found washed up on the shore. However, from what her body can tell us, she was a slave being transported by sea and the ship ended up caught in a storm. This guess is from the fact that she has multiple scars on her back which appear to have been caused by a whip, a brand mark on her right thigh, and her wrists appear to have been in irons for quite some time, leaving nasty red marks.
4: What is your character's race?
Human. No evidence thus far can state otherwise.
5: Hair color/cut?
Blond hair which is long and wavy in length, which she keeps tied up in a braid on her left side.
6: Eye color?
A lovely shade of green, like emeralds.
7: Typical attire?
She dresses in a torn and tattered outfit, which is held together by a girdle. She is barefoot and bareheaded, exposed to the elements. She is also often dirty due to the nature of her lifestyle.
8: Anything unusual about her appearance?
Aside from being exceptionally beautiful for someone of her status, there are the scars on her back that suggest she's been whipped quite a few times, as well as a brand mark on her right thigh, marked with the initials W.B., suggesting she was the property of someone with the initials W.B. who was a very abusive person towards her. Other than that, nothing unusual.
9: Does your character have any unnatural abilities?
None. She is just a normal girl. No powers, no abilities, she's not athletic, nor tough. She's just a shy, frail young girl.
10: What are seven words that best describe your character's personality?
-Shy
-Sweet
-Softspoken
-Pushover
-Scared
-Hardworking
-Naive
11: What is one tough decision your character will have to make?
To stand up for herself or to let everyone just walk all over her.
12: Where is your character's place of origin?
She doesn't know, but from what we can gather, she came from somewhere across the sea.
13: Tell us something about your character's parents and family.
Again, she cannot remember who she is. She was most likely a slave girl, quite possibly sold into slavery by her parents in order to pay off a debt. If she ever does remember her past, she may not have anything nice to say about her family.
14: What about your character's fighting abilities -- pacifist or no?
She is very easily frightened, and is not a fighter. She will defend herself the best she can when attacked, but odds are she will try to run away without attempting to do any harm to others or let others harm her. I suppose you could say she's a technical pacifist.
15: Does your character have any titles / jobs to their name? What do they do for a living?
She can't remember. Currently unemployed, but is a hard worker if given the opportunity to prove it. She'll do whatever she needs to do to make a living... even degrade herself in front of everyone.
16: Any current love interests?
None. She hasn't gotten the chance to get to know anybody.
17: What is your character's favorite food?
Chicken seasoned with a variety of spices. However, to her that is a commodity.
18: What was a dark time in your character's life?
She can't remember, but judging from the scars, probably everday of her life was hell. Is it any wonder she's a shy and pathetic young girl?
19: What was a happy time?
She cannot remember a time in her life when she was happy. And even if she lacked the amnesia, she probably will tell you that she has no fond memories at all.
20: Hobbies or outlets?
She has a particular love for music. She can play the most beautiful tune on the flute.
21: Any ideal vacation spot for your character?
Somewhere quiet and peaceful, like in the middle of the woods.
22: Your character's deepest fear?
She's especially afraid of not being accepted by others. Why she would worry about that may be because of the scars and the brand she bears, as well as not looking like the most well kept person in the world.
23: Nicknames?
"Gwen", "Amny" because of her amnesia, "Whip" because of her scars.
24: The worst way to insult your character?
ANYTHING. Insult her, throw something at her, slap her, spit on her, even talk about her behind her back... she gets depressed easily, and will most likely cave in and start crying.
25: What animals do you associate your character with?
Depending on who you ask, she is sometimes likened to a cockroach, but she most like the mouse.
26: What is one of your character's physical weaknesses?
Despite the obvious beating her body has taken, she is very much a bleeder. She is not physically tough or strong. She's a pushover.
27: What is one of your character's greatest flaws?
Her lack of confidence. This hurts her both socially and when she is attacked. Socially, she is very shy and has difficulty mustering up the courage to introduce herself, let alone hold a conversation. When she is being attacked, she doesn't have the courage necessary to defend herself unless she has something she can use to knock the attacker away, such as a chair or an empty wooden crate. Otherwise she runs like the devil is chasing after her.
28: What is a good song for your character right now?
The best one I can think of is "Celes' Theme" from Final Fantasy VI.
29: Is your character particularily religious? If so, what faith does she practice?
She hasn't even so much as been introduced to religion, so she can't even say what she believes in other than what others say.
30: If your character could have one thing right now, what would it be and why?
A cat. She loves cats. Doesn't know for sure why she likes them, but she loves them a lot. Giving her one as a gift will automatically make her like you.
Here is some artwork of her. Hope you like them:

Please note that the events in the last two are from my Shadow War story and not going to happen in Sharteshane unless you want to be especially cruel to her. _________________ It is an undeniable and may I say fundamental quality of man that when faced with extinction... every alternative is preferable. |
